The eighth annual English As a Secondary Language Conference will be held at the university’s main campus on April 4 to prepare churches to use ESL as a ministry outreach to their communities. According to TESOL program director, Michael Pasquale, “We want to help churches be more effective and help network with other churches…churches across the board can use this to reach their neighbors for Christ.” The daylong conference features Dr. Cheri Pierson, associate professor of intercultural studies and TESOL at Wheaton College Graduate School. The cost is $50 per person and $30 for students and includes a light breakfast, lunch and conference materials. For more information go to: http://www.cornerstone.edu/academics/tesl/esl_conf
