Dr. Haveman Speaks at Conference and Serves on HLC Panel

Dr. Linda Haveman, Professional & Graduate Studies Division Director of Educational Programs, recently presented "Communicating Difficult Information to Parents" at the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children. The annual conference, held in Grand Rapids, MI was attended by 100 early childhood professionals.
Upon review of her credentials and references, Dr. Haveman has been appointed as an Annual Update Reviewer and Systems Appraiser for The Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The HLC is an organization commissioned by The North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools, the university’s accrediting body.
