Prior Learning Credit from Cornerstone University awards credits for significant experience you've gained outside of a college classroom.  Learning venues could include work, training, community activities, non-accredited schools and other experiences which have provided you with knowledge that may translate into academic credit.

Learning Venues

Students may be awarded college credit if they are able to document their learning. Learning may have occurred through workshops, seminars, licenser, professional schools or other significant learning.

PST- Professional Schools and Training

  • Documentation/Certificate of completion
  • Documentation of hours (clock hours)
  • Documentation of content (books/syllabus)
  • Potential credits:1-30

 LLE-Life Learning Essays

  • Significant learning experience
  • Written according to KOLBS model
  • Minimum of 15 pages
  • Potential credits: 3 per essay
