Associate of Science Degrees

 

 

The Associate of Science degree completion programs are introductory level academic programs designed for working adults who understand what a solid, Christian liberal arts education will enable them to accomplish in life and employment. Programs provide a foundational study of many disciplines that establish a strong educational core, so that students may rightly interpret reality and live out their faith in all areas of life. The program stresses the integration of business issues with general education principles and satisfies the requirements to continue in a Bachelor degree completion program.

Admission Requirements

  • Completed application accompanied by a $35 non-refundable application fee
  • Graduation from high school or successful completion of GED
  • A minimum of two years of full-time work since high school
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges, CLEP and DANTES transcripts and a copy of official military transcripts, if applicable
  • Students whose primary language is not English must achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based test,  or 213 (computer-based test), or 79-80 (Internet-based test)

  Graduation Requirements

  • Completion of 60-62 semester hours including the prescribed 44 semester hours in general education and the required hours in subject concentration 
  • Fulfillment of residency requirements
  • Payment of all tuition and fees
  • A 2.0 (C) cumulative grade-point average; a A grade of C- or better in ENG118 and COM111
