Degree completion programs leading to a Bachelor of Science degree at
Cornerstone University develop leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills within a Christian framework. Classes meet once per week for four (4) hours on the same day, generally from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., throughout the duration of the program. In addition, students meet once a week with a Professional Learning Team to discuss and prepare assignments and share learning resources. In approximately 20 months, students can complete curriculum requirements for their major program.
Documented life-learning and job-related projects are important components of the program. For that reason, entering students should have at least two years of significant job-related experience.
Official transcripts from each previous college and/or university attended, CLEP and DANTES transcripts and a copy of DD214 or other official military transcripts, if applicable
A minimum of 56 semester hours of transferable, college-level credit from accredited colleges or universities
A minimum of two years of full-time work experience since high school
Students whose primary language is not English must achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 500 from a paper-based test and 173 from a computer-based test
A completed application accompanied by a $35 application fee
Graduation Requirements
Total of 120 semester hours completed (includes 30 credits of general education requirements). Students in the Ministry Leadership program must also complete 6 semester hours of Bible/religion courses outside of the program.
Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher (2.5 or higher GPA in major)
